Meet the bee: Sam Huylebroek

"I have always found the world of HR and IT interesting: together with a good friend I came up with the idea for a mobile application around onboarding. Through that experience, we were both contacted shortly afterwards to work at Beeple, so I started five years ago as a Business Development Manager. A year later, I moved up to Sales Manager, the role I still hold today."

A sounding board for colleagues

"As Sales Manager, my goal is to help both the company and my colleagues grow. I want to be a point of contact for my team, so I have regular 1-to-1 meetings with them, but I also want to be a sounding board for the other Beeple employees. In addition, I am also involved in sales. My focus is mainly on launching Beeple in new target countries and/or sectors. At the moment, we are exploring the Spanish market and I take care of that first introduction. Once all that is going well, one of the Account Executives will take over."

Beeple has grown considerably over the past five years and Sam notices that too. "Beeple has become much more professional in recent years, but the atmosphere and company culture are still the same as when I started here.
